What I’m Watching

Okay, so apparently, TV is life.

Has anyone ever asked you what your hobbies are and then you’re embarrassed to say “binge-watching five different shows at one time”? I always come up with something more high-brow like “I love to write, travel and garden.” But deep down, I’m thinking, give me a good thriller, rom-com or true crime series and I will spend my whole weekend on the couch with some sweats on, my hair twisted up and some premium snacks. And let’s not talk about when the pandemic hit. Add a “corn-teen” to unlimited TV, and I became a binge-master… a Netflix ninja, a Hulu hottie, the Black Siskel & Ebert (remember them?) mixed with a little Blaine Edwards and Antoine Merriweather. 😁

Victor Newman is part of Black History, too. Fight me.

I know the actor’s name is Eric Braeden, but we’re not talking about him. 😄 We’re talking about Victor… Mr. Suave, Mr. Debonair, Mr. Mustache himself. I just read that he’s celebrating 42 years on The Young and the Restless. Forty. Two. Years. That’s basically a lifetime of finessing Black grandmamas all over the world…

And Just Like That Season 1 Review

[SPOILER ALERT!] I hate to say “I told you so” but I knew true fans of Sex and the City (like me) would not be pleased with this revised version. I never want classic, legendary tv shows or movies to be rebooted. Call me a scrooge, but if something is good, leave it alone. And…

Who moved the remote?!

Never mind, I was sitting on it. From The Crown to Insecure, there are no limits to what I’ll watch as long as it’s good ‘n binge-worthy. You can catch me live tweeting different shows on Twitter.

I’m always reviewing and rating something
